The successful candidate will follow regular housekeeping duties and will lead the team in the absence of the Housekeeping Supervisor. Minimum 2 years of experience in housekeeping and sanitizing rooms. Willingness to step up and take responsibility leading a team. Ability to adapt to different situations and change work processes to accommodate customer needs. Friendly attitude and Customer Service skills to welcome customers to the park. A good eye for detail and the ability to work weekends.
Job description:
• To clean ablution blocks, showers, toilets and kitchens as directed and supervised.
• Clean Villa’s, Cabins, Lodges, Ensuite, and other work areas so that health standards are met.
• Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
• Change and make beds in all accommodation types.
• Empty wastebaskets, recycling bins, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas
• Observe all health and safety procedures
• Maintain a high standard of guest satisfaction by being responsive to requests
• Organise the teams and allocate tasks in the absence of the Supervisor.
- Support the Housekeeping Supervisor and check units off.
• Any additional duties or responsibilities related to the position as directed.
- Set weekly rosters in the absence of the supervisor.
• Order linen and cleaning products in the absence of the supervisor.
- Be part of the staff recruitment process.
- Advise office staff of accommodation ready for occupancy.
Minimum 2 years of housekeeping experience is preferred for this role. Furthermore, the applicant must be able to work independently and can follow instructions.
Working days include Sunday to Thursday (5 days) - working hours are 8.30am to 3pm depending on workload. A minimum of 32 hrs are guaranteed for this role with a maximum of 40hrs offered during peak and shoulder season.
All work is completed on site at the Hot Water Beach TOP10 Holiday Park.
