Option 1 - Hire a Vehicle
Hiring a vehicle, whether a campervan or small car, is the best way to explore the Coromandel. It offers the freedom to visit places you might otherwise miss. Be aware that we drive on the left in NZ. If venturing into remote areas, expect gravel roads and ensure your insurance covers them. Roads between Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, and our Holiday Park are sealed and offer stunning scenery.

Option 2 - Fly & Rent a Car or Taxi
Barrier Air is the only airline flying from Auckland to Whitianga, our closest large town. From there, you can take a taxi or hire a car for more flexibility (30min). Note that Hot Water Beach has no public transport, and only three tour companies offer shuttle services to and from the area. Option 3 - Shuttle Bus
Go Kiwi Shuttles are the only bus company to pick you up from Auckland Airport or Auckland City Centre and drop you right here at Hot Water Beach TOP 10 Holiday Park. If you do choose to use the shuttle just be aware that once you are in Hot Water Beach there is no Public Transport to get you to the other beaches in the area.
